Gunfight at the KO Corral

Believe it or not Glasgow’s Grand Ole Opry now runs classes in gunfighting. I spotted an advert for the evening class on the way past the other day and EL KAT has been nice enough to grab me a photo:

How cool does that sound?

I’m not entirely sure what kind of guns they’re talking about but I don’t remember hearing any gunshots so I assume there weren’t any real western style gunfights. I can’t see a budding John Wayne type packing a silencer on his double-action colt 45.

I have been to the Opry on a Saturday night on 2 occasions and can cofirm that there is a gunfight.

They use real guns (according to Mountain Man that I met in the loo) but fire blanks. I’m not sure how they get round this with gun licensing but it might be antique guns?

It’s very loud when they fire and they have a wee box on a stand at waist height that tells who fired first.

I think there’s defintely scope for a murder story!
